Dear ’72 Classmates:
Reunion Co-Chairs Nancy LeaMond and Gail Shearer were inspired by their participation in the Volunteer Leadership Conference at Smith in November. They are excited to be kicking off the planning for our 45th Reunion and urge you to mark your calendars for May 25–28, 2017.
This is a great time to tell us what we can do to make our 45th Reunion attract you to attend! And we’d love to have you participate in the planning. What are your ideas for a theme? Click on this link and fill out the reply box to share your thoughts: http://www.smithcollege72.org/reunions/reunion-2017/
We heard about lessons learned from other classes and were struck by the positive energy of the students and President McCartney. Smith women of our generation know that they can “come as we are” to Reunion — and reconnect with old friends, make new friends, and draw energy and renewal from the vibrancy of the setting where we lived for several years a long time ago. Planning the reunion will be part of the fun…keep a look-out for more information this Spring!

Your Gift Counts – Many thanks to all who have already made your FY16 gift to the Smith Fund. If you haven’t yet done so, please consider making a gift before the end of the fiscal year, June 30th. Go to http://www.smith.edu/giving/. Remember: A significant factor for US News and World Report rankings is the percentage of alumni who support their alma mater. Every gift to the Smith Fund, no matter how big or small, makes a difference and will help to boost our Class participation rate.
Best regards, Jackie
