Special events for ’72:
The class of 1972 survey is included in this mailing. We want to hear from you. Even if you are not planning to come to Reunion, please complete and mail the survey back; or you can download it from the class website at http://www.smithcollege72.org/. Please mail your survey to Nancy Jianakoplos (contact information is on the survey).
We welcome your additional suggestions for Reunion, please contact Kay or Evelyn. We will have a digital picture frame with photos from our days at Smith, past Reunions, and current activities. If you would like to include your favorites, please send them electronically to email@example.com.

Smith ’72 – Dollars for Smith Scholarships – a Life-Changer!
Our gifts to the Smith Fund help Smith educate “women of promise for lives of distinction.” Smith tries to provide educational opportunity for all qualified students, knowing that over 60 percent of them will require some level of financial assistance to attend Smith. The presence of these very capable women in classrooms all over campus enriches the fabric of the Smith community. In our conversations with prospective/current Smith students, and alums, we have seen Smith’s role as a life-changer, offering resources and opportunities not readily available in other settings.
As of February 2012, over 200 of our classmates have pledged or made gifts totaling more than $1,300,000. We are close to our 40th Reunion goal of $1,972,000.
We extend a special thanks to our 168 classmates who have faithfully made gifts, large and small, to Smith every year for the past four fiscal years. With a gift to Smith in this fifth year, you’ll be counted among our “Smith Stars” in May at Reunion.
Don’t pass up your chance to make a difference in time for Reunion. Think of your gift to the Smith Fund as a chance to change the world.
